Visit Saline Website

Visit Saline is a Chamber of Commerce partnership with other Saline area players to promote the town as a destination for events , shopping and dining. The site was built in WordPress, and I designed the layout for a consistent presentation of events and attractions, and a place to showcase event and area scenic photos. Challenges included importing business directory data from a different site and configuring it to work in the custom WordPress theme.

An event proposal form was integrated with the calendar plugin to let citizens and businesses add their own event information (subject to approval) to reduce the staff’s data-entry workoad. After completion, we performed client training to turn site maintenance over to the Chamber staff.
